Mia is an independent young woman in foster care who wants to become a Patient Care Technician. She is dedicated to her studies and committed to building a future where she can provide compassionate care to others. Despite experiencing traumatic events in her past, she views those challenges as the foundation of her strength, shaping her into the resilient and determined person she is today.

Mia is working hard to pursue her goal of becoming a Patient Care Technician and attends trade school four days a week. However, she does not have stable transportation to get home from school and must travel over thirty miles each day. Without reliable options, Mia relies heavily on costly Uber rides, which consume nearly all of her funds and create additional stress. A wish for reliable transportation support would greatly ease this burden, allowing youth to focus on her studies, maintain her independence, and continue building a strong foundation for her future without the constant worry of how she will get home safely.
