Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationJeremiah is a kind and loving young man living in relative care. He truly comes alive when he’s engaging in his favorite activities—playing games and watching videos. With a vivid imagination, he has a special passion for cars, Superman, and Batman. Whether he’s creating stories or adventures with these characters or acting them out during playtime, Jeremiah shows just how creative and thoughtful he can be. As someone with autism, Jeremiah sometimes finds it challenging to make friends and has some academic delays. However, gaming has become an essential part of his life, serving as a meaningful way for him to connect with the world and others around him. Through games, he can share his interests, communicate comfortably, and experience the joy of being part of a community. For Jeremiah, gaming is more than just a pastime; it’s a vital bridge that helps him build relationships and express the unique creativity that defines him.
Jeremiah would be so happy to have his own tablet! He used to have an older one with a cracked screen, and even though it was old and couldn’t update his games, he was always thankful to have it. Sadly, that tablet stopped working, and now he feels really sad without it. For Jeremiah, a tablet is more than just a toy. It helps him learn and have fun, especially since he’s behind in school. With no other kids around his age, it was also a way for him to connect and enjoy himself. Getting Jeremiah a new tablet would bring back something he loves and give him a great tool for learning and creativity. For a sweet boy who doesn’t ask for much, this gift would make a big difference in his life!
