Roy is a child who is mature beyond his years. He helped take care of his sick older brother and watched him slowly pass away. After his brother's death, Roy was removed from his home due to severe abuse and neglect. He has difficulty making sense of the traumatic experiences he witnessed. Despite this, Roy is a bright young man who enjoys being active and playing outside. Currently in foster care, he struggles to find his place. He has a wonderful, creative mind and enjoys fixing things. Roy is learning to appreciate the joys of childhood, such as riding a bike.

Roy is looking forward to Halloween this year and has set his sights on a special fruit bat Squishmallow to keep on his bed and cuddle when he needs to lift his spirits. He also chose a Halloween bat to add a touch of excitement to the holiday. Roy wants to create memories that will last long after Halloween is over.
