Children, Youth and Families DepartmentTorrance is currently in foster care. He was born prematurely and spent several months in the hospital. Now, Torrance is adapting to life in a home rather than a hospital setting. He enjoys being held and talked to, and he likes spending time with others. Additionally, Torrance appreciates being outside and experiencing the different weather, which he can now enjoy since he is no longer in the hospital.
Torrance was born prematurely and has faced numerous challenges from the start. Despite his difficult beginning, he is growing strong and showing remarkable progress. However, his journey requires frequent trips out of town for appointments related to his care. Unfortunately, the state where he lives does not provide strollers for children in care, and Torrance's caregivers need assistance to purchase a stroller. This would not only help them navigate his appointments more easily but also provide a safe way to carry his oxygen and feeding tube supplies. With each passing day, Torrance continues to fight through the obstacles in his life, and there are signs that he may one day be able to thrive without the need for oxygen. Your support in securing a stroller for him would make a significant difference in his ongoing journey toward health and independence.
