An iPad for Eric to stay in touch with friends and family
Eric, 19 years old, NJ
Wish submitted by:
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Monmouth CountyEric has a lot of special needs, including autism. He is primarily non-verbal, although he is learning a few words like cookie, ball, more, no, and dog. In spite of being in foster care since he was 2 years old, he is a lovable, outgoing young boy. He loves to play basketball, play in pools, ride horses and swing on the swing set at school.
Eric has an old iPad that barely works, and he relies on it to stay in touch with his friends and family. He also uses it to store his pictures. He hopes to get a new iPad soon before his current one stops functioning completely. In addition to communication and photo storage, he enjoys using various apps for entertainment. Upgrading would improve his experience and allow him to stay connected more easily.
