Alexis is a creative and determined young woman who has faced a challenging home life and foster care experience, yet she still has much to offer. Her journey through foster care began at the age of six, and she has lived in four different foster homes. One adoption attempt fell through because she didn't want to be separated from her brother. Alexis is musically talented; she plays the guitar, piano, ukulele, and a bit of trumpet. She has started recording her own songs and is considering a career in music. Despite her troubled past and inconsistent life circumstances, she remains very optimistic and is always eager to solve problems. Alexis is also generous and enjoys sharing her kindness and energy with those around her.

Alexis is a young woman who was previously in foster care and is now ready to take the next steps in her life. She wants to get her driver’s license and sign up for community college, but she’s been sharing an old, broken-down computer with her brother. The computer is sticky, slow, and constantly crashes, which makes it really hard for her to get things done. Having a dependable computer would make a significant difference for her as she strives to achieve her educational goals.
