Kayvon is a spunky boy living in foster care with his siblings. He is autistic and struggles to interact with others. When he entered care, he was nonverbal and became frustrated easily. With his resiliency and determination, Kayvon has begun to communicate and express himself. He is a sweet, loving, and outgoing child who loves to play and learn.

Due to his delays, Kayvon struggles daily to be independent, follow tasks, and transition between activities and routines. The unexpected gives him anxiety and causes him to shut down or have extreme reactions to simple transitions. A visual schedule chart will clearly lay out the activities of the day and allow him to mark them as he completes them. This will help Kayvon increase his independence and feel confident in himself when completing the tasks/routines.
