Kyle, who was diagnosed autistic and non-verbal, was left alone in a motel room by his parent. After criminal charges were filed against the parent, they declared that they no longer wanted to care for Kyle. Kyle was subsequently placed in a resource home, where he is thriving, receiving love from his resource parents.

Kyle wishes to have a Spider-Man costume for Halloween. It will bring a giant smile to his face because Spider-Man is his favorite superhero. He imagines swinging between buildings just like his hero while trick-or-treating with his friends. Wearing the costume will make him feel brave and ready for any adventure that comes his way.
