Lakesha has a radiant smile that can light up any room. Her joy and love for life are infectious, and she approaches every new experience with excitement and curiosity. Bright and intelligent for her age, Lakesha’s outgoing nature makes her a joy to be around. Lakesha was previously in foster care but has since been reunited with her mother and brother. She and her family are being supported by NJ DCFS.

Lakesha has an older brother who enjoys pushing her around on his big wheels, and she absolutely loves playing outside. Recently, she has developed a newfound passion for Minnie Mouse, which has only added to her outdoor adventures. Lakesha dreams of having a battery-powered bike that would allow her to ride alongside her brother and mother as they teach her the ropes of cycling. Her mother sees this bike as the perfect gift—one that Lakesha can grow into over time. It will help her build confidence and get comfortable riding a bigger bike as she gets older.
