Mecklenburg County Guardian ad LitemDionna enjoys creating art in her free time, and her favorite subject is science because she loves conducting experiments! She has made a volcano and completed a self-contained tornado project. Dionna is adjusting well to her new school, and the stability of her placement has significantly contributed to her success. She has caught up with her reading and math skills. Dionna also likes spending time with her new friends in the neighborhood and playing at the park.
Dionna recently celebrated her birthday and, while she is grateful for the gifts she received, she mentioned to her volunteer that she didn't get any art supplies. Art helps Dionna cope with her feelings of sadness about not living with her family. She has requested canvases so that she can continue creating!
