Malcolm entered foster care in September 2021, just two months after he was born. His aunt, Angie, discovered him in a motel with physical injuries and quickly rushed him to the hospital. That same day, Angie took him in. After years filled with doctor’s appointments, struggles in school, juggling multiple jobs, and caring for her aging father, the family has finally achieved permanency through adoption. Malcolm enjoys going on car rides, playing at the park, reading books, singing, and eating his favorite foods. He navigates the world with a perceptiveness beyond his years and loves being the center of attention, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him!

Malcolm absolutely adores The Nightmare Before Christmas, and he’s particularly excited about the fun exhibit currently taking place at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, TX! His dedicated caregiver, Angie, works tirelessly to care for both Malcolm and her aging father, often stretching her budget thin and not having enough funds for fun activities like this. Being able to share this special experience with Malcolm would bring Angie so much joy, creating a sweet memory for both of them to cherish.
