An Oculus for Keith to stay connected to his siblings

Keith, 17 years old, GA | 42 DAYS WAITING

Wish submitted by:

Carroll County Foster Parent Association

Keith spent 26 months in foster care before finding his forever home through adoption. Today, he is a straight-A student with a passion for music that enriches his life. Music serves as a vital coping mechanism for him; he often listens to it to decompress after a stressful day. As a member of the school honor band, he showcases his talent and dedication. His love for music is particularly evident in his admiration for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In fact, one of the highlights of his life was when his adoptive parents took him to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, a day he describes as one of the best he's ever experienced!

Keith was adopted by the same foster family currently caring for his two younger siblings. He is hoping to receive an Oculus so he can connect and play with his brother, especially as Keith prepares to leave for college next year. Due to their unique and separate experiences within the foster care system, Keith and his brother haven't always had the opportunity to build a strong sibling bond. However, one meaningful way they’ve been able to reconnect is through gaming. It's a shared interest that allows them to spend quality time together, strengthen their relationship, and create positive memories. Granting this wish would not only support his personal interests but also nurture a growing and important sibling connection that both boys deeply value.
