Carmen is a sweet woman who loves everyone she meets. Her story is pretty tough. But she is tough. She aged out of foster care and moved into her own apartment with a roommate. She lost her job then had COVID then she had to have surgery in her hands for arthritis, carpal tunnel. She wants to foster kids someday because she remembers. She is very pleasant and happy to be around others. She is going through rehab on her hands, but she says she will not let this get her down and she wants to write someday. She wants to write children's books.

Carmen is worried about her dietary and medical needs. Living in a small rented room, she struggles to afford her own apartment and is responsible for preparing her own meals. She has been dealing with allergies and other health issues, making it even more challenging for her to ensure she meets her nutritional requirements.
