McKenna is a determined and resilient young adult who has spent much of her life in the foster care system after being removed from her mother’s care due to neglect at a young age. Throughout her journey, she has worked hard in therapy to heal from her trauma while also dedicating herself to her education. McKenna recently achieved a major milestone by graduating from high school and is now preparing for college, where she plans to pursue her dream of becoming a pharmacy technician.

After spending much of her childhood in foster care, McKenna is excited to begin living on her own for the first time. She’s carefully budgeting for essentials like food and bills as she learns to manage her own space and independence. McKenna is wishing for a TV to make her new home feel more welcoming and connected. Having a TV would give her a way to relax during her downtime, stay informed about the news and events around her, and bring a sense of comfort and normalcy to her new environment. This small wish would go a long way in helping McKenna feel settled and supported as she starts this new chapter.
