Ruben is a kind and respectful young man who has shown remarkable resilience throughout his life. Having grown up in foster care and experienced multiple placements, he has developed a strong sense of independence and determination. In his free time, Ruben enjoys playing video games, visiting his siblings, and spending time with friends.

Ruben wishes for a Target gift card, as Target is his favorite store. He hopes to use it to purchase some of his favorite clothing items. Although he doesn't shop there often because it can be a bit more expensive than other stores, he really enjoys the style and quality of the clothes. Having new clothes from Target would help him feel more confident and motivated to get ready for the day. Recently, Ruben used most of his money to buy work clothes, leaving little room for items that reflect his personality or things he likes. He rarely spends money on things he wants or that make him happy, as he's been focusing on saving and managing his finances responsibly.
