Oaklee grew up in the foster care system, primarily living in group homes. They have faced challenges, but managed to graduate from high school and enroll in college with the goal of studying Psychology. They enjoy spending time with their mentor, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing video games. As a strong and passionate young adult, Oaklee is eager to build their independent life and enhance their living skills.

Oaklee has been having a hard time making ends meet with their SNAP benefits. Each month, they find themselves running low on food funds by the end of the month. Now, with the government shutdown in November, SNAP won't be issuing any benefits. Oaklee is very concerned about being able to afford food this month and is seeking any assistance they can find.
