Recently, he earned his Associate's degree, a significant achievement for a young man who has navigated numerous challenges without much of a safety net. This accomplishment reflects his resilience and dedication.
Barry relies on food stamps to put food on the table. He won't have steady employment again until the Spring. Until then, he needs cash assistance and food stamps to cover groceries. Due to the ongoing government shutdown, Barry does not know how he will be able to purchase food without food stamps being distributed in November. Granting his wish will literally help Barry put food on the table during this busy holiday season.
