City Living NYNate is recently moved into his own apartment for the very first time. Prior to this, Nate spent his adolescence in foster care and then his early adult years living on a friend's couch for multiple years. Nate is a great self-advocate--someone who is not afraid to tell others what he wants and, more importantly, what he deserves.
Due to the government shutdown and the pause on SNAP benefits, Nate will not receive his SNAP benefits for the month, which is causing him significant distress and anxiety. He is currently waiting to find out whether his apartment application has been approved, adding to his feelings of uncertainty as November approaches. A ShopRite gift card would provide him with a sense of security during this uncertain time.
