Foster Alumni MentorsElizabeth is a helpful, kind, and supportive individual who continues to build a meaningful life after aging out of foster care. She is actively involved in supporting a local nonprofit and finds purpose in giving back to her community. Elizabeth is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in social work with the long-term goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), working within school systems to support youth. Her personal goals include securing a place to rent and moving out of her brother’s home, undergoing gastric bypass surgery as part of her health journey, and continuing her higher education. Elizabeth is committed to growth, stability, and creating a future where she can support both herself and others.
Elizabeth is seeking a medication lock box to help protect her daughter, who has recently been struggling with her mental health. The medications in their home have become a safety risk, and Elizabeth wants to ensure her daughter has a secure, supportive environment as she works toward recovery. Having a lock box would give Elizabeth the reassurance that her daughter is safe, while allowing her to focus on offering the love and care her child needs most right now.
