Suhaib is a well-mannered and reserved young individual. He recently exited the foster care system and has been doing well in his transitional housing. Suhaib came into custody due to some behavioral concerns and struggled to manage these issues. However, he has learned to manage his behaviors more effectively and now leans closely on his faith as a guide for himself and his life decisions. He enjoys playing basketball, being in nature, and staying active.

Suhaib is a new participant in the current transitional living program. Before joining this program, he lived with his mother for a short period. Suhaib is actively working toward gaining independence and learning to live on his own. To help with his food expenses while in transitional housing, he explored the SNAP Benefits Program. However, due to the recent government shutdown, securing food assistance has become more challenging for him. Suhaib would greatly benefit from a gift card to help cover his food costs for the month of November.
