Kourtnie is an outgoing and creative teenager who has recently reunited with her biological mother after several years in the foster care system. Now in a safe and supportive environment, her focus is on healing, finishing high school, and pursuing her dream of joining the Navy. With the support of her mother and community, Kourtnie is taking meaningful steps toward stability and a brighter future. Kourtnie loves arts and crafts, taking photos, and hanging out with friends. She’s adventurous and thrives when exploring new places. She’s also deeply motivated, currently preparing for a credit recovery program and working toward taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery for the Navy.

Kourtnie is making great strides in preparing for her dream job in the Navy. While she works toward that goal, she has landed her first job at Little Caesars. To get started in her new position, she needs to acquire a pair of black, non-slip shoes.
