Danielle grew up in the foster care system and has recently aged out of it. She is currently living in a transitional housing program that is helping her become a successful young adult. This is a positive step for Danielle, especially since her previous program closed down and she was given minimal time to find a new place to live. Although she has limited support, she is close to her fostering connections worker, which is beneficial for her. Danielle is optimistic about her future and enjoys her newfound independence. She is exploring career opportunities that will enable her to live on her own and support herself.

Aside from the continuing assistance from fostering connections, she relies heavily on SNAP benefits to help with her grocery expenses. Unfortunately, due to the government shutdown, she will not receive these critical benefits in November, further complicating her situation.
