In addition to her studies and new home, Shavon is also in the process of adopting one of her nephews, ensuring that he stays out of foster care. This is truly an exciting and transformative time in her life!
Due to the ongoing government shutdown, Shavon will not receive her SNAP benefits this month. Balancing work and school, she will face significant challenges in purchasing groceries throughout November without these benefits.
