Giovanni is a very happy kid who loves being around people. Unfortunately, his mother recently passed away, which makes him sad. However, he finds comfort in living with his older sister, who is working on adopting him. He enjoys outdoor adventures with his sister!

Giovanni recently lost his older brother in a car accident. They shared a room, and Giovanni has been feeling very sad since the loss. His foster mother hopes this book, The Invisible String, will help him process his feelings and bring some comfort during this difficult time.
