PivotalMalaysia's mother passed away due to heart failure, and she was her only caregiver. Her two siblings were separated from her and placed on the East Coast while Malaysia was in California. As a former foster youth, Malaysia has received support services, including case management and scholarship opportunities, while pursuing a degree in Social Work. She is kind, hardworking, mature, and genuine.
Malaysia is currently in the final stretch of her Bachelor’s degree program and needs to stock her pantry so she can focus on her upcoming final exams. She is trying to be as resourceful as possible, but she needs some relief to get through the month. A Safeway gift card would greatly help her replenish her food supplies.
