Community Access UnlimitedJihad is a great young man that has been through a lot of adversity. Despite the things he has been through, he is a happy and friendly person. Due to circumstances he was experiencing, Jihad had to take a year off from school but is now returning to obtain his high school diploma. He is also looking to begin working soon and is actively searching and applying for jobs.
Jihad is a bright and resilient young man who has faced more challenges this past year than most do in a lifetime. After moving between group homes and spending time in mental health facilities, he is now living with his birth mother while waiting for a new resource home placement. Unfortunately, his family has limited means and struggles to provide many of the things he enjoys. Jihad’s PlayStation 5, one of the few items that brought him comfort and joy, was stolen from his previous group home. Gaming was not only a source of fun for him—it was also a way to cope, connect with friends, and find a sense of normalcy. A new PlayStation 5 would mean so much to Jihad this holiday season. It would remind him that people care, that brighter days are ahead, and that kindness can help rebuild what’s been lost.
