Alex has faced housing instability for much of his life, which has resulted in missing significant amounts of school. He has now found a place where he feels he can begin working toward his goal of graduating, despite starting late. He enjoys skateboarding, spending time with friends, and being in nature.

Alex has struggled with his mental health over the years, particularly due to the housing instability he has experienced. He has discovered that skateboarding around the city with his friends serves as a major coping strategy. During these moments, he feels free and joyful. Additionally, he is curious about exploring media creation and making videos of skateboarding. He hopes to get a GoPro camera that he can wear during his skateboarding adventures and learn video editing to create exciting content.
