Lara is a resilient and kind-hearted young woman who has navigated the foster system and cultural challenges on her own. She has a strong will and refuses to give up, always looking ahead and seeking resources to support her. Her primary goal is to become a paramedic, but she also has an interest in pursuing cosmetology at some point. With many opportunities now within her reach, Lara maintains a positive attitude and dedicates herself to building a better future.

Lara has taken such good care of her previous headphones that they have survived beyond their expected lifespan. Now that she is in college and devotes her time to studying and working, she wants to be able to enjoy her music while walking and waiting between classes, as well as stay unaware of other people's business by blocking out the noise outside. Lara has been paying off some debt caused by vandalism to her car and would greatly appreciate help obtaining a new pair of headphones to help her get through tough times and also relax after her responsibilities are complete.
