Laci and her younger sister entered foster care in 2022 due to severe ongoing neglect and child endangerment. Since their placement, they have moved between several foster homes and are soon to be placed with a family member. Laci is bright, creative, and takes charge, with a cheeky sense of humor. She enjoys playing outside, posing for selfies, drawing, spending time in the park, watching videos, and reading. However, Laci's favorite activity is spending time with her younger sister, whom she affectionately calls "my other half."

Laci and her little sister cherish their time spent running and playing outside, whether it's in their backyard or at nearby parks. Soon, though, they’ll be moving out of state to a place where winter weather can be quite unpredictable. This holiday season, Laci’s heartfelt wish is for tickets to an indoor play park near the home of their relative caregiver. This would allow them to stay active, burn off their energy, and, most importantly, enjoy precious time together.
