Her last foster parent told her she was just going to spend the night at a friend’s house, but she never came back. Since then, Sara has felt deeply abandoned and hasn’t seen her mom in two years. Despite all the heartbreak, Sarah is doing her best to find peace and happiness. She’s beginning to feel a little better through school, where she’s finding comfort, routine, and hope for brighter days ahead.
