Children, Youth and Families DepartmentBrenden and his siblings are currently in foster care. Despite the challenges they face, Brenden finds solace in music, which he considers therapeutic. He also has a passion for sports, particularly basketball and baseball, which keep him active and engaged. In addition to his love for sports, Brenden enjoys learning how to repair things, a hobby that allows him to channel his creativity and problem-solving skills.
Brenden has always wanted a pair of Nikes but has never owned any. He shared with his caseworker that life was difficult when he lived with his biological family, and as a result, he never had the chance to get new shoes. Now that he has a stable living situation, he hopes to finally get a pair of them. Owning Nikes would mean a lot to him and would give him a sense of pride and belonging.
