Melody is a kind, intelligent, and hopeful young lady. She entered the foster care system at the age of 10, along with her younger siblings, who were adopted without her. Unfortunately, she has moved six times due to various circumstances, including foster families relocating out of state, illness, expired licenses, and a failed adoption because the family did not want to adopt a child with special needs. Despite these challenges, Melody remains optimistic about her future. She has a strong support team and is on track to graduate from high school and attend a city college.

Melody is excited to celebrate her birthday and wants to have "fancy" nails for her senior photos and other events. Getting her nails done will boost her self-confidence and help her feel more "normal" as she connects with her peers.
