Ruby spent some time in foster care after moving to the U.S. with her mother. They are now reunited and living in a shelter in Los Angeles. Her mother is doing her best to provide for them, but resources are limited, especially due to immigration challenges. Ruby loves Disney Princesses and finds happiness at daycare, where she enjoys being around other kids.

Ruby's mother currently has no income and is not eligible for work, making it difficult to provide basic necessities. A Target gift card will allow Ruby to pick out new clothes that fit and make her feel confident, giving her a sense of normalcy, joy, and dignity during this difficult time. This is wish 2 of 2.
