Odalis has faced significant challenges while growing up in the foster care system in Orange County. At the age of 21, she aged out of the system and has since been navigating life independently while raising her children. Despite the difficulties, Odalis is determined to create a brighter future for her family. She is pursuing a degree in Human Services to improve her life and help others. As a devoted mother, Odalis cares deeply for her two children: a 12-year-old with special needs and a 6-month-old baby.

Odalis believes that foster care saved her life. More than anything, it taught her that she can endure the toughest challenges and still emerge strong and resilient. Now, as a mother, she hopes to be a better and more dependable parent for her own children. One of her favorite ways to support her children is by cooking their favorite meals. Odalis would really appreciate a new cookware set to replace her worn-out pieces, so she can continue preparing these cherished meals for her kids.
