Thompson Child and Family FocusJoseph has been in foster care for a few years. He is a good student with a close group of friends. He plays on his school’s volleyball team, and in their last game, he scored 6 points for his team.
Joseph would love to have a freestanding punching bag and gloves so he can practice boxing. When he first entered foster care, he was angry and upset about leaving his home and friends. However, since moving in with his younger brother, he has made new friends, joined the volleyball team, and recently took a boxing class at the YMCA, which he absolutely loved. Joseph wants to practice boxing at his foster home and also hopes to teach his younger brother how to box so that he can experience the joy of the sport as well.
