San Diego Youth ServicesDaniel spent his teen years in foster care and is currently in a housing program and still learning independent living skills. He has a complicated history with his biological family, but is close to his foster dads, his foster aunt, and his cousins. Daniel loves animals and dreams of being a veterinary technician. He plans to complete a veterinary technician program at his local community college. Daniel also loves to play his guitar, listen to music, build Legos, and read his Bible.
Daniel is recovering from surgery after a skateboarding accident that resulted in a broken wrist, kneecap, and collarbone. He hopes to recover comfortably in his independent living studio apartment, but his mattress is sagging and uncomfortable. He is currently waiting for his disability application to be approved, as he cannot work. A new mattress would greatly help him in his recovery process.
