Roy is a child who is mature beyond his years. He helped take care of his sick older brother and watched him slowly pass away. After his brother's death, Roy was removed from his home due to severe abuse and neglect. He has difficulty making sense of the traumatic experiences he witnessed. Despite this, Roy is a bright young man who enjoys being active and playing outside. Currently in foster care, he struggles to find his place. He has a wonderful, creative mind and enjoys fixing things. Roy is learning to appreciate the joys of childhood, such as riding a bike.

Roy’s friends all play with Pokémon cards, but he has never owned any himself. This Christmas, he is looking forward to receiving presents. If he gets the Pokémon cards he selected, it will make for an amazing holiday.
