1999 CollectiveGenevieve entered foster care when she was a preteen and aged out of the system after many foster home placements and much tumultuousness. Despite so much change, Genevieve persevered, working and attending college for several semesters as a young adult. Genevieve is currently taking a break from her schooling to stabilize in a new city, where she feels like she will be safer and there will be more work opportunities.
Genevieve is currently at risk of food insecurity as she is dealing with court and therapy fees. She is working on her budget to ensure she can meet all her needs; however, this month, she needs assistance with obtaining groceries.
