Maliyah has a bright smile and a love for storytelling. She often escapes into her imagination through writing short stories and comics. Though she's experienced instability, she continues to show up with courage. Maliyah is currently living in a group home and wants to become an author so other kids know they're not alone.

Maliyah would love an MP3 player. Music helps her focus when she’s writing, and having her own would let her create her stories without the background noise of group home life. This Christmas, she’s hoping for a little peace and inspiration wrapped in one.
