Alexxa’s journey through foster care has been anything but easy. Throughout her early childhood, she moved between various foster homes and reunifications with her parents, always hoping for stability. After her father passed away, her mother’s struggles increased, and Alexxa found herself back in care once again. Despite the weight of her worries, she holds onto hope that her mom will find a way to rebuild their lives. Through it all, Alexxa continues to shine—excelling in school, staying committed to her therapy goals, and making incredible progress on her path forward.

Alexxa is learning how to style her hair and is excited to discover a look that feels uniquely her own. For Christmas, she hopes to receive a hair straightener, which would allow her to experiment, practice, and build her confidence in her appearance. This gift would support her independence and self-esteem, making the process of getting ready a fun and empowering part of her day.
