Enrique is a bright and energetic boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is currently placed with his three siblings in the loving care of their grandparents. This is the second time Enrique, and his siblings have been in care within the past four years, but Enrique continues to show remarkable resilience and growth. Recently diagnosed with autism, Enrique attends a specialized academy where he’s thriving in an environment tailored to his learning needs. He’s curious, expressive, and benefits from structure and support as he navigates new experiences. While Enrique can have big feelings that sometimes lead to challenging behaviors, those who know him best see the warmth, humor, and love he shares freely. His kind spirit and determination shine through in all he does.

Enrique is really hoping to get an iPad for his birthday. He wants to play fun educational games that will help him learn while having a great time. Plus, he loves to watch drawing tutorials to improve his artistic skills. He also enjoys searching for pictures of dinosaurs, sharks, and other things he loves to draw and color.
