Gio is a smart and sensitive young man raised by his older sister. His parents had a tumultuous relationship, which led to the involvement of the Division in their lives. Earlier this year, Gio tragically lost his mother at the hands of his father, who is now incarcerated. Currently, Gio is living with his older sister, who plans to adopt him in the near future. As they both cope with the loss of their mother, Gio and his sister have also endured the heartbreaking loss of their teenage brother in a tragic car accident a few months ago. To cherish the memories of his family, Gio has adorned his room with photos of his mother and brother. Fortunately, Gio excels at expressing his emotions and remains optimistic about his future. He looks forward to being adopted by his sister, who always ensures that he feels safe and well cared for.

Gio is a very active young boy; some might even call him hyperactive! As the winter weather approaches, he’s eager to find new ways to channel his energy. With the temperatures dropping, Gio knows it’s important to stay active even when he can’t play outside. He dreams of having a Nex Playground where he can enjoy fun activities with his family. This would allow him to burn off some energy while staying warm and engaged. Gio loves the idea of climbing, sliding, and running around, especially during the colder months. He believes that a new playground would be the perfect solution to keep his spirits high and his body moving.
