Her strength comes in her resiliency to keep advocating for herself and staying positive. She does yoga and meditation daily and loves to go on walks in the neighborhood. She hopes to become a medical assistant and work in the medical field. A survivor of community violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking, she is working with her therapist and her family members to find safety and healing. She is a determined, strong willed, and passionate young woman wanting to make a positive and great life for herself.

Christina recently got out of an abusive relationship but the harmdoer is still trying to access her apartment. Christina was able to get support from another organization to change the locks of her current unit but needs help with making her apartment more secure. Her harmdoer knows how to pick locks and has attempted to enter her apartment a few times since changing her locks. Christina is unable to pay for the installation and purchase of items because she is currently in an unpaid training to be a Medical Assistant. She does not receive any public benefits and has no savings due to financial abuse. Adding a metal bar and more security mechanisms would help with continued safety concerns and allow Christina to focus on her medical training.
