Denzel is thriving and has become a favorite among his classmates. He enjoys playing outside and being active, and even his older siblings can't keep up with him. His favorite times at school are recess and snack time, although he also knows when it's time to focus on his studies. He values anyone who is willing to read to him. His family is receiving support from CASA.

Denzel is one of five children, and his family is currently facing many struggles. Being relatively new to Denver, he hasn't had the chance to experience a winter before. Winter boots would not only keep him warm but also feed his sense of adventure and play. They would allow him to fully enjoy the snowy environment and make the most of his new surroundings.
