Leona is the kind of girl who brings color into every room she enters—sometimes quite literally. With her hands often smudged with paint and her pockets filled with crayons, she views the world as one big canvas waiting for her touch. She loves to create, mixing bright colors in unique ways that only she can, transforming simple paper into something magical. As the only girl in a house full of boys, Leona has learned to hold her own—and she does so with laughter and a fearless spirit. She is just as happy roughhousing in the yard with her older brothers as she is brushing the hair of her favorite dolls. Leona has asked for a bike because she has outgrown her previous one, and the family currently doesn't have the finances to replace it.
