Andrea is a wonderful young lady who is currently living in a transitional living program. Despite undergoing many challenges in her life, she remains optimistic. She is focused on school and her upcoming senior activities. Andrea is a fierce leader; always stepping up to be an example and advocating for not only herself but her peers as well. Andrea's future aspirations are to work in airplane mechanics and property investment. Her favorite colors are black and grey, she loves things to be tidy and organized, and she has an infectious smile. She enjoys scrolling on TikTok and attending church.

Andrea takes great pride in her appearance. She always makes sure to look well-groomed and smells nice, presenting herself in a polished way. However, her blonde and blue locs, which are a big part of her style, could use some extra care. Since entering extended foster care, Andrea has faced a lot of challenges, including periods of homelessness. These experiences have made it tough for her to keep her locs looking their best. She has learned to retwist and refresh them on her own, but with school, work, and programming, she often runs out of time to give them the attention they need. Recently, she discovered a few patches where her locs have fallen out, which has been disheartening. As she prepares to graduate, attend prom, and start an automotive program she’s excited about, Andrea feels it’s important to present herself well. She believes a fresh hairstyle could boost her confidence and help her make a great impression during interviews and networking events. A new look would not only make her feel revitalized and special but also serve as a great starting point for the New Year, aligning perfectly with her goals for growth and success.
