Dulce is being raised by her great-grandmother and is a very charismatic girl who loves to express her creativity in almost everything she does. She escaped from a very unsafe environment in her native country, Guatemala, and lost her biological mother at a very early age. Due to the traumas she experienced, Dulce has had difficulty expressing her emotions. She enjoys taking care of others and has shown a particular passion for dolls.

Dulce lost her mother at a very young age, and since then, her great-grandmother has taken care of her. As a result of her early trauma, Dulce often seeks emotional support, nurturing, and companionship. She frequently plays with an old doll, pretending to be her great-grandmother and mimicking the love and care she receives from her family. This Christmas, Dulce wishes for a realistic doll that represents her as a baby being cared for by her great-grandmother during her mother's illness. This doll would help her express her emotions and provide a sense of companionship and purpose.
