Liliana has spent most of her life in and out of the foster care system. When she is not in foster care, she has lived with various family members for short periods. Recently, both Liliana and her daughter were placed back into kinship care with her aunt. Despite her challenges, Liliana is a hardworking young woman who is determined to graduate from high school while also managing a part-time job to support her daughter.

Liliana wishes that she could be like her peers in so many ways. The girls in her school are constantly showing off their winter Starbucks drinks. Liliana would love to splurge on herself and keep herself caffeinated to make sure she is able to care for her child and herself while also being a typical teenager!
