After being in the foster care system throughout her childhood, she cherishes more than ever the ability to live independently in the apartment she's built into her home. She is a member of the Youth Advisory Board, advocating for foster youth by providing feedback on her experience in foster care and helping to shape state policies and initiatives.
Crystal is a kind-hearted young woman who spent most of her childhood in foster care. Now on her own, she is on the Youth Advisory Board, where she shares her experiences in care to advocate for current foster youth. Crystal would love this warm winter coat, to protect her from the cold and the elements as she goes about her busy days. It's well made and sturdy, so she knows it will last for several seasons. Crystal would be so grateful to have this coat.
