Leah is a resilient young mother who courageously faces the challenges of raising her child while managing emotional issues and low self-esteem. She is currently in individual and group therapy, working through postpartum depression and PTSD stemming from a traumatic past with her father. Thanks to a state program, Leah has secured her first apartment and has made significant progress with the support of her community. However, living in a one-bedroom apartment means she shares her space with her son, which affects both of their sleep. A mattress to go with a bunk bed would help create the necessary comfort and space, allowing for more restful nights. Knowing that her community cares enough to support her would greatly encourage Leah, and better sleep could alleviate some of her stress, helping her thrive as the dedicated single mother she aspires to be. Together, we can help Leah achieve the brighter future she truly deserves.
